Long Flight: Give Me All the Page-Turners

Flight to London: 8-9 hours

Flight to Brisbane Australia: 13-14 hours

Flight to Hanoi, Vietnam: a longggg time


It can be hard to find a good book based on the small blurb on the back. How can 1-2 paragraphs represent the synopsis of hours of reading, and be catchy enough to make you want to dive right in?


You might be a "beach read" type of person, but I can tell you right now the follow recommendations are not that. You are welcome to enjoy a nice, romantic beach read while pool side, but if you choose to step outside your comfort zone, here are some books that you will have a hard time putting down.


You know that moment when you finish a great book, take your bookmark out, close the book, and hold it to your chest for while as you deeply ponder the entire story you just read?

Love that feeling...


These first two recs, I cannot shout them from the roof tops enough.

I absolutely could not put them down.







This story line was so unique. Each chapter jumps back and forth from one family line to the other, making it very easy to tell yourself "just one more chapter" and all of the sudden you are awake reading until the wee hours of the morning.




While reading about Nazi Germany is a little heavy for a vacation read, but this book was amazing.





Thrift store find! This 50 cent book from 1990 had me down a Nora Roberts rabbit hole.





This one had be audibly gasp at the ending's plot twist.




A little disturbing, but I flew through this book, eager to put the pieces together.
